Overview
Jadwyn Media ("we", "us") operates jadwynmedia.com and the related client portal. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this plain and honest.
Information we collect from visitors
When you browse the public website, we may collect:
- Basic visit data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, and device type, collected through privacy-respecting analytics.
- Any information you voluntarily submit through our contact or inquiry forms, such as your name, email, company, and message.
We do not sell visitor data to third parties.
How we use visitor information
We use the information above to respond to inquiries, improve the website and its content, measure marketing performance, and keep the site secure. Inquiry details are used only to follow up with you about the services you asked about.
Client portal accounts
Clients who work with us receive a portal account. The portal stores the information you provide during onboarding, files you upload, and records related to invoices and services. Portal data is associated with your account and is visible to you and to our team for the purpose of delivering your services. You can request a copy of your portal data or that it be removed at the end of our engagement.
Authentication and Google sign-in
We offer sign-in through Google for convenience. When you use it, we receive basic profile information needed to create and recognize your account, such as your name and email address. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access your Google account contents beyond what is required for authentication.
Google Business Profile connections
For clients who purchase Google Business Profile services, we request limited access to your Business Profile through Google's official OAuth process. Access is granted by you, scoped to managing your profile, and can be revoked at any time from your Google account or by asking us to disconnect it. We never ask for your Google password.
Third-party processors
We rely on trusted services to operate, including:
- Analytics providers that help us understand site traffic and performance.
- Payment processing through Stripe, which handles card data under its own compliance program. We do not store your full card details.
- Google for sign-in and Business Profile access, as described above.
Each processor handles data under its own terms, and we share only what is necessary to provide the relevant feature.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for analytics, remembering your preferences, and keeping you signed in to the portal. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if they are disabled.
Data retention
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable follow-up. Portal and client data is retained for the duration of our engagement and for a limited period afterward to support accounting, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of marketing communications, by reaching out through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent through our contact page and will be directed to the person responsible for privacy.
